The New Year
The new year has brought nothing but more excitement for all of us! Pate continues to amaze us with his wit and wisdom and I vow to write a book that includes all of his tall tales...it is sure to be a best seller! Cooper has started eating baby food and sleeping all night. It seems like no time ago at all that we brought him home from the hospital! I hope to include more pictures of the boys soon, but for now, I am adding their Valentine. I know that I am a bit biased, but I just believe that they are two of the most handsome boys on the planet!

How the Land of Griff began...
Growing up, I was always referred to as a princess. I grew up in the Castle of Londonderry (my house named after the street I lived on) and spent most of my time at the Crystal Lake (our pool) with the king (my dad), the queen (my mom), and the knight (my brother). However, one day, a troll (Jeff) stole the princess from the Castle and took her to live in a far away land (all the way across town). Although the king and queen realized that the troll was a very friendly troll, they were still displeased that the princess would no longer dwell in the Castle of Londonderry. Time passed until one day, the princess became the princess and the pea (I was pregnant). The pea (Pate Daniel) was born and was rightfully named the prince. It was at this time the queen began keeping a journal with the tales of the kingdom, which will be published one day. There were many adventures for the princess and the pea. One day, the princess was pleased to find that she would be adding once more to the royal family. So, now we have the princess and the pea and carrot (I was pregnant again). The carrot (Cooper David) was born and he too was named a prince of Londonderry. Shortly thereafter, the king and queen decided to retire to a different estate. They built a new kingdom in the country...and the journey continues.
Christmas with the Griffey's
Christmas was an absolute blast this year! This was an exciting Christmas because Pate has finally reached the age of enjoying the Christmas experience and it was Cooper's first Christmas! We changed our holiday routine a little this year, but it worked out well. It was a very relaxing season for us and we are so thankful to have been able to share this season with our family and friends!
